Verdant bamboo climbs towards the azure sky as the sun sets. The elegant and colorful scene is painted by hand on this paper parasol designed by Thailand's Nikom. Featuring a bamboo frame and handle, this parasol is perfect for casual use or home decor.

The craftsmanship is exquisite and I only wish it was a little wider, so everyone could see much more of this beautiful artistry!

This colorful, lovely work of umbrella art would have been perfect except I have a hard time opening it completely. Could it be due to my age(78)? I would like to find out if you also create smaller versions of these umbrellas, Mr. Nikom. I believe they are called monks umbrellas in Thailand. I would like to purchase at least half a dozen of them to give away as gifts if you do.
You can find our paper parasol 'Bamboo Sunset' by Nikom in decor accessories categories such as East meets West Home Accents, Hand Painted Home Accents, Leaf and Tree Home Accents, Cotton Home Accents and Bamboo Home Accents. Enjoy exploring these sections for other Novica treasures.
