From artisan Gunadi of Indonesia, these lovely red, cream, and black coasters come in a set of six. Crafted from wadang wood, the coasters are hand-stamped with a batik motif known as Lok Chan in Java. This motif depicts a phoenix and represents the relationship between China and Java.

These are quite beautiful. The only surprise was that they were considerably larger and heavier than expected. The description is correct in terms of the size, so be sure to make sure that matches your wishes.
