Used this on a table by the front door so it is one of the first things that people see when they enter the house. It is beautiful and always gets compliments. The colors are so pretty and it drapes over the edges of the table nicely. Beautiful quality and I expect it to last many years.

Job Creator
In 1991 UMBVS, the Development Committee of Desert Weavers, was a self-help group. Today it is a successful association of traditional weavers in the Jodphur area that provides training and market access for hundreds of artisans.
Caring for Children
UMBVS is an NGO of traditional weavers. Since 1991, they have empowered hundreds of traditional artisans to earn an income from their craft, enabling them to care for themselves, their families and their children.
The Desert Weavers of India group successfully changed the centuries' old tradition that forbade women from working on the loom, thus offering them an opportunity to learn to weave.
