A smiling novice monk carries his alms bowl with him as he travels from place to place in this charming sculpture from Ning Charoensri. Thai artisans craft the sculpture from durable brass, paying special attention to the folds in the monk's robe, then hand paint the robe in a rich brown color.

I bought these bells for my 100 years old mother in 2022. She picked them up by the yellow ribbons and started swirling them around. The tinkling sound was beautiful and relaxing. They arent heavy or too small. I like the color and the carvings as well. I can tell that it has duplicate carvings of Buddha, but the other two carvings Im not too sure. They seem to look like two elephant heads facing away from each other. My mom passed away this year (2023), making these bells a producer of cherished memories by just listening to their music.

I purchased two of the tea lights for gifts and both recipients were delighted. These are well-priced and well-made. They create a warm glow when lit and are lovely as an accent piece for any decor.
