Inspired by Eastern philosophies, Matta designs a pair of earrings shaped like young bamboo stalks. Bamboo is regarded as a symbol of fertility, and in Chinese philosophy the straight stem of bamboo symbolizes the path towards enlightenment. The earrings are perfectly cut of jade, regarded as a stone of good luck. The earrings hang from sterling silver hooks.

“Beautiful earrings”

I love the square shape of these earrings and also that the silver frame is just around the edge and not covering the back side so the amethyst shines through.
