Ghanaian artisan Mary Dzidzienyo gets extra points for originality thanks to this beautiful pair of dangle earrings in a splendid combination of red, black and white. The handcrafted earrings feature flat, round and seed recycled glass beads at the top and bottom while the middle section is adorned with bone beads. They come with brass hooks and are called Yawa, a word that refers to women born on a Thursday in the Ewe language.

I love the character of this necklace. The handmade recycled glass beads are colorful and unique. I have a few pieces of jewelry from Africa, this is a wonderful new addition to my collection. Perfect size and colors for summer.
