Colorful glass beads dangle playfully from this captivating African mask designed by Christopher Nyasafo. The artisan carves the mask from sese wood, then hand-paints the wood in brown and cream before attaching the recycled glass beads. The artisan calls the mask Igbo after a tribe found in southeastern Nigeria.
The colors of the beads and jute can vary slightly.

We love it. The use of the primary colors is wonderful, and stays within earth tones. A happy mask, which makes us smile and brightens the room!
