Ghana's famed Gye Nyame symbol emerges in this design by Joycelyn Sena Zigah; its rotating form means, "I fear none except God." Known as an adinkra symbol, this image is revered throughout the country. The Ghanaian artisan depicts the West African image on a cross pendant crafted of sterling silver.

I am recently saved and had been looking for my lifetime devotional cross to wear. I had purchased a couple other items from Mexican artists in silver from NOVICA. I did not create an account at that time. I loved this immediately on arrival!!! Thank you so much for your well considered creativity in the integration of the adinkra. I will wear it all my days. I love the detail in this ring. Mrs Zigah is an excellent silversmith. I wish she would make match earrings, necklace and bracelet cuff with this same design.

Though she was not born in West Africa, my granddaughter (born in Ethiopia) will treasure this for her whole life. She was so thrilled to receive it.
