Bands of cool color flow across a set of handwoven placemats, evoking the Guatemalan seacoast. Working on a traditional handloom, Eladio Chiroy combines black, turquoise and sapphire blue on a teal green background. Matching napkins in solid blue complete the lovely set for four. Many of the natural colors are derived from seeds, herbs, tree bark and woods.

“Great Kitchen Towels”

So many kitchen towels are made for their looks and are not functional. But these absorb and work great and are beautiful! I almost dont want to use them because I wreck my towels, but they are fabulous and I do use them as my go to kitchen towels now.
