Calla lilies are glorious among brightly colored flowers in a fabulous tapestry by Walter Paucar Velarde. First he dyes the wool yarn in shades of purple, green, cherry, pink, yellow, blue and brown. Then he weaves the tapestry on a traditional loom featuring the relleno (stuffed) textures distinctive of the weaves from San Pedro de las Cajas.
