Diminutive silver granules known as jawan complement graceful hearts of sterling tendrils. They adorn a globe that encloses a brass chime in this necklace from Sukartini. The polished pendant centers a silver chain.
Also called "angel necklaces" and "harmony balls," Such necklaces are often worn by pregnant women in Bali and also in Mexico. Many wear it as an amulet. Others prefer a long chain that lets the pendant reach to the belly and the delicate sounds are thought to soothe the mother and the baby she is carrying. Some believe it summons a guardian angel, thus making it a symbol of loving protection.

The picture is nice but the detail is even prettier in person. The chime is sweet and soft. Ive worn it twice and had so many compliments.

My wife received this for her birthday, she had seen it on the site and described it to me, it was not hard to locate on Novica as it was as described, delicate , intricate and beautiful, a true work of art in silver, she wears it every where and every day and gets lots of compliments on this piece

Previously I bought a pair as a gift for my sister. I had to have a pair, too. The exact color of gold accent is something Ive never seen on other sites or in stores. Mesmerizing! Kudos to the artist!

I dont change out my earrings a lot and these are ones I wear daily. The style makes them easy to put in and take out. They look exactly as pictured. The only downside is that the clasp gets caught in knits and towels so just be careful with that.
