Hand-carved from beautiful hibiscus wood, this mask by Indonesian artisan Made Tresna wears a peaceful, contented expression. Between its eyes are painted six Sanskrit letters called chakra, which means "wheel." These letters refer to energy centers throughout the body that are thought to be affected by a person's health, mental clarity, and emotions.

This is such a unique piece. My sister moved to Florida near the beach. I thought giving her a mermaid sculpture was very appropriate. She loved it!

Have added it to other wood masks in one room to add that extra touch of levity and joy. Love it!
