Inspired by forest motifs, Sajad creates a rug with classic Kashmiri appeal. The intricate patterns are drawn on a cotton backing, and embroidered by hand with soft woolen floss. The technique of chain-stitched rug crafting was introduced to India by Persia in 1460.
