Designed by Fida Hussain, this stunning papier mache pencil box will beautify your office with its lovely leaf motif. The Indian artisan hand crafts the rectangular box from weeping willing wood, pasting strips of paper around the box before buffing the surface smooth. Finally, the box is hand painted, then given a coat of glossy lacquer for shine and protection.

“Beautiful to give and receive”

These bird ornaments are absolutely exquisitely crafted and painted. I loved them so much that I bought a 2nd set for myself. I sent a set to my sister-in-law who was absolutely delighted to add them to her tree.

“These elephants and their tapestries are beautifully painted!”

I recall my friend from India gave me an elephant decor when I moved away. I certainly can imagine these ornaments as symbolic of carrying one of the wise men that Christians celebrate at Epiphany (January 6).
