Inspired by the regal Jaali artwork from the Indian region, artisan Ashish Mehta creates this majestic mango wood decorative box. Ashish uses artisanal methods to hand-carve the piece, which boasts an antique burnt finish that beautifies a traditional floral pattern on the lid.

My sweet Moma has Alzheimer s and was recently placed in a memory care home after at home she broke her neck and four years earlier broke her femur. She lives animals and handcrafts. She will love these for Christmas decor in her room. Larger than i expected but that s great. Well made with thoughtfulness into the design and character.

Im dividing this set and the Cozy Kittens set as stocking stuffers, and of course, keeping one of each for myself - they are so adorable!
