Guatemalan artisans Ruben and Gilda Perez bring Mayan heritage to life in this jade pendant necklace featuring the symbol of a nahual, emblems that signify the spiritual guides that the culture's ancient calendar connects to each person. The nahual of family and the community, Kawoq represents cooperation, generosity and collective well-being. Paired with sterling silver details and an adjustable waxed cotton cord, it's a connection to ancestral wisdom in a modern design.

I was excited to receive this pendant and was pleased with the quick delivery; however, I am disappointed that the actual pendant is not even close to how vibrant it appears in the description. You can only see the engraving by turning the pendant in various directions so the light hits it just right. I will keep this as I have already worn it, but I will hesitate before ordering this type of pendant again.

I love this bracelet.. simple.. beautiful.. it s a constant feature on my arm.. and I am thrilled that it does not have the extra length of leather dangling after I tighten it
