Afroza Ishaq designs a versatile catchall in the shape of a chinar leaf, pride of Kashmir. Known as boune to Kashmiris, the chinar tree was a favorite of Mughal royals, and a constant inspiration to artists and poets ever since. The catchall tray is expertly hand-carved of seasoned walnut wood, which only grows in this region of India.

We have strong ties to India and this gift was for my daughter to treasure & remind her of the many wonderful and beautiful things that India has offered to the world for thousands of years.
"I come from an artistic family specializing in the traditional craft of walnut wood carving. My father was a walnut craftsman, I remember him hand-carving awesome pieces which I admired."
