Ancient wisdom meets contemporary style in this jade pendant necklace by Guatemala's Ruben and Gilda Perez. It boasts a finely carved nahual symbol, an emblem that represents the spiritual guides the Mayan calendar bestows upon each person. The Ajmaq nahual symbolizes reconciliation, compassion, learning from mistakes, and the capacity to forgive and heal the past in order to evolve spiritually. Finished with sterling silver accents, its adjustable waxed cotton cord makes it effortless to wear.

I was looking for the dark green jade color to go with a pendant I have. It is a good match.

I was excited to receive this pendant and was pleased with the quick delivery; however, I am disappointed that the actual pendant is not even close to how vibrant it appears in the description. You can only see the engraving by turning the pendant in various directions so the light hits it just right. I will keep this as I have already worn it, but I will hesitate before ordering this type of pendant again.
