A vast knowledge of Mexico's pre-Hispanic art inspires this incense holder of the artisans' own design. Artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association adapt the style of Teotihuacan, depicting a man with a feathered owl headdress who holds the incense bowl on his head. The ceramic incense holder receives an aged, antique finish. It is designed to hold cone-style incense (not included).

I have a fairly large collection of ancient pre-Columbian statues and pottery from the Incas, Mayas and Aztecs. Many of these items I have obtained from Novica over the years. Outstanding quality from local artisans, very good delivery and never a breakage on these fragile items. There are many more items on the list I would like to acquire - but am not rich enough to do so, have to go slowly over time.

Ive ordered several of these Codex pieces from Angel Ceron Artisan and they are beautiful works of art. Tezcatlipoca is amazing and I am lucky to have gotten one before they sold out. I have several others including Tlaloc and Quetzalcoatl, etc. They are incredible and worth every penny. I can say that the packaging they come in is 100% secure and that I am always amazed at how professionally they are packaged and shipped. They come from Mexico and always come with a hand written note on a postcard from Palenque.
