From the handicrafts mecca that is Tlaquepaque, Mexico, comes this vibrant hand-painted skull by Maria and Esteban. Dark eyebrows frame a smiling cerulean face while small maize-colored flowers and festive peacocks in tangerine and fuchsia adorn the back and sides. Bold explosions of color characterize Mexican folklore, and this decorative skull is an excellent example of this tradition.

My daughter has sort of a thing about sculls. This one is so joyous. It has beautiful symbols, flora and fauna. The colors glow. I have to wait awhile for her birthday, but I wanted to be sure to get it. What a delightful piece of art.

I have seen lizards like this before, but never so bright and beautiful. They are beautifully painted. They really glow on the wall. Thank you!
