Printed Chrysanthemum Motif Cotton Shawl from India, "Chrysanthemum Symphony"

A wondrous garden of beautiful chrysanthemum flowers creates a lovely symphony over the body of this exquisite cotton shawl from India. Designed by Aparupa Ghosh, the designs are applied using the block printing technique, where stamps are hand-carved of wood. A border of cerulean surrounds the peridot-colored flowers for a bright, sunny accessory. Dangling fabric tassels complete this shawl.
