With a variety of luxurious items, such as a house, a sports car, and a sack of money tied around his neck, Ekeko, the Tiwanakan god of abundance, is depicted here in this charming ceramic figurine. Maribel Posso Olivares paints the sculpture by hand with floral motifs against a red body, outfitting the sculpture with a multicolored wool chullo hat that reads "Peru."

I just love this little guy. I have him on the mantle and enjoy him everyday. I hope to one day visit Peru and explore. But for now I have my little guy to dream with.

I love the souvenir as much as the story behind it. The workmanship is perfect, and I keep this gorgeous figurine on my mantel year-round. It goes with my summer decoration just as well as with my Christmas garland and ornaments.
