Recreating a festive scene typical of Tajikistan's ceremonies, artisan Kodir Egamov uses pine and birch wood to bring this portrait of the region's culture to life. The musicians wear blue and purple garments, one playing a dutor and the other a doira. As a touch of charm, a vivacious woman in an ikat dress represents the country's delicacies by carrying delicious bread.
