Signed and Mounted Portrait of Frida Kahlo from Mexico, "Calm Frida"

A young Frida Kahlo sits regally dressed in a deep red shawl, large blue necklace, and matching rose in her hair in this gorgeous portrait by Angel del Palacio. "I wanted to show this prolific Mexican artist at her best," he explains. He works with a combination of crayons and colored pencils on paper. The composition is matted, mounted on a pinewood stretcher and covered with a protective pane of glass.
