Signed Bronze Figurine Sculpture from Brazil, "Medium Leaf"

Having served its destiny upon a tree, a fallen leaf is immortalized through Pietrina Checcacci's art. She is intrigued by the leaf's shape and texture, which she uses as model for this figurine. Working with bronze, Checcacci applies oxidized contrasts that result in the illusion of a weathered finish.
