The sterling silver pendant features a sleek dolphin, surrounded by precious faceted amethyst, blue topaz, and citrine stones that total five carats. Flanking the pendant are substantial chains of sterling silver that culminate in a polished toggle clasp.

“Unusual Design”

This bracelet is beautiful and looks just like the picture. I received the bracelet in the mail today so I havent worn it yet. I definitely would order more jewelry from Buana.

“So beautiful and well-made, I purchased two!”

This necklace is just stunning! The overall peace is shaped like a diamond. In the center of the piece is a pearl, below the pearl is the beautiful faceted amethyst and below the beautiful amethyst is another pearl. The pearls and amethyst are in a vertical line in the center of the peace. On either side of the amethyst and pearls is the beautiful sterling silver work. I am slowly building a collection of jewelry for each of my daughters that I will give them when they re older. My youngest daughter looked at several amethyst jewelry pieces from Novica and this was the necklace she loved the most! I know she will treasure it for years to come! Truly, it is an heirloom piece of jewelry that can be passed down from one generation to the next.

Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.

Microcredit Financing

Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.

Caring for Children

When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.
