Striped Green Cotton Sling from El Salvador, "Verdant Stripes"

Presented by El Salvador's Women Leaders of La Colorada, this cute cotton sling features verdant stripes of green alongside black. Local artisans hand-weave the sling of cotton on the traditional telar de pie, or floor loom. This bag drapes over the shoulder on an adjustable strap, which fastens with a plastic buckle. An open pocket at the front provides space for storing small items, and a black faux leather panel accents the bag at the bottom. This bag's main compartment opens with a zipper to a cotton-lined interior.
