Carved from crocodile wood, this jewelry box takes the shape of a sea turtle. Gusti Ngurah Semarajaya paints the piece by hand, depicting Rangda on the lid. A symbol of all that is evil, the witch is described in the Hindu epic Ramayana. She is the Balinese manifestation of Durga, goddess of the underworld. The petite box is lined in black velvet.

This cat is so expressive - especially the eyes. I showed it to my cat and she was afraid of it! Beautiful work! I love it!

Cute looking item but not sturdy or weighty enough to be bookends! For that reason I had to return it.
