By Sefah Mohammed, this handsome mask is used by the Ga people of Greater Accra. He carves the piece by hand, adding beautiful colors and applications of embossed aluminum. Such masks assure a plentiful catch. The artisan names the mask Kutunshi, a Ga word for a type of fish.
