"Northern Thai women are so kind, so different and so mild-mannered. This work tells about the northern Thai lifestyle. Women usually meet each other at the morning market. I wanted to represent them with graceful and gentle lines," Alaya Cholprasertsuk explains. Her elegant batik design depicts shoppers and merchants in a beautiful wall hanging.
As each piece is individually dyed, colors may vary slightly, making each wall hanging a unique work of art.

This piece is vibrant, colorful and personally takes me back to my childhood and the years living in Thailand. Life happens in a market and this is a perfect showcase of it. Thai people always so welcoming, kind and hospitable...Thank you for taking me back in time!

I bought this for my niece as a birthday gift and had it shipped to her. She thanked me for the beautiful art in a shirt.

I love the print and the lightweight fabric. Definitely a summer top. It is long, tunic length, especially for 52 me. The good news is it will be easy to hem, so its a keeper!
