Evoking a floral jungle, snow white vines with azure petals explore an indigo world. Indian artisan Una Gupta creates this lovely cotton tunic, which is decorated using the traditional block-printing technique. This pleated top features a button-up front and three-quarter sleeves that can be rolled up and buttoned. The pleats and neckline are accented with orange kantha stitching.

Well-made, beautiful fabric, and longer than expected which is a plus for me! I highly recommend this.

The colors are very earthy. The pictures on the site are pretty, and it is even more gorgeous in person. The fit is perfect. I am very happy

Confronting Adversity
For the past five or six years, it has been difficult for Una to focus on her fashion workshop. She has been caring for her mother, who is now in the advanced stages of Alzheimers and no longer recognizes her. Una must constantly watch her mother to ensure that she does not harm herself or others. In addition to the limitations it places on Una with her work, it is extremely painful for her to watch her mother disappear in front of her.
Job Creator
Una has a small workshop in the garage next to her home. She is able to employ sewers, a pattern maker and artisans who hand-finish, embroider and embellish her garments.
Empowering Women
The Women's Empowerment badge is awarded to female artisans or artisan groups that are led by women.
Microcredit Financing
Una Gupta has received a $800 microcredit loan with 0% interest.
"I would love to see that Indian style clothing becomes part of the world of fashion, and that I am part of this revolution."
