Vibrant red contrasts profoundly with black in this beautifully crafted accent table presented by Winfred Korley of Ghana. The base of this circular table features a male and female figure facing each other, while the top features a widely respected adinkra symbol called Gye Nyame, which means "I fear none except God" in the Akan language of Ghana. This stunning table is hand carved from sese wood and accented with white clay, giving it a rustic look.

The table is beautiful and in the spirit of the Adrinka. I love it. However, know this: 1) the table is very light, it easily slips on hard floors and could tip in the process 2) it is not carved out of a block as more ancient artifacts, but of three distinct pieces assembled by screws 3) it is not totally even, so if you place it on a hard floor, you ll have to rig it so it does not wobble
