Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to ¼-inch; you can use a wick trimmer, scissors, or even nail clippers. Keep the candle away from moving air such as air conditioners, fans, or open windows, as well as areas with high traffic of people walking back and forth. Please also keep away within reach of children and pets, and away from flammable items.

Do not leave the candle burning unattended. Do not leave the candle burning for more than 2 hours at a time in a single session. Before relighting the candle, let it cool for at least two hours.
