I am proud and very grateful to have two of Pedro's pieces for our new kitchenware after losing everything in a CA fire last year. I lived in Spain and in Mexico as a student and have always appreciated the artistry of Talavera-style pottery. The design is intricate, the colors true and gorgeous; the pieces are elegant as weight belies the sturdiness of the pottery. Everything was expertly packed. This is another beautiful piece of Talavera that I will proudly add to my collection. I was a bit concerned that it might be damaged in transit, but they did an OUTSTANDING, OUTSTANDING job of packing it, further proof of the conscientious manner and value that Sr. Tecayehuatl exemplifies in his work. Simply beautiful. I ordered this along with 2 other elephant-themed celadon plates and 4 vanda plates. I was inspired to serve an Oriental meal just so I could use my new Thai plates!
