We bought a bird for each of our children's families and one for ourselves. The idea was to put them on our Christmas trees every year, but the birds are too beautiful to put away! They will be displayed all year round and I suspect there are more bird gifts in our future.
This is a perfect souvenir from my trip to Tajikistan.
I was in several towns in Tajikistan a couple of years ago. I didn't find many souvenirs to buy. Therefore, having found these in Novica made me very happy. Plus, it's great artwork. Mr. Egamov is a wonderful artist.
