Stunning

I love this artist's sculptures of people. She seems able to capture and preserve those special moments. I've given a number of these away, and everyone is always awed by them and seem to really treasure them.

NOVICA has built this broad collection of abstract sculpture with examples from artisans and artists from such diverse countries and regions as the Andes, Indonesia, Brazil, India, Mexico, Thailand and West Africa. Artists like Ghana’s Rita Addo Zakour, who, even though she works in local woods and aluminum sheets, designs her pieces with traditional West African themes in mind. And like all of the other artisans who’s work is exhibited on these pages, dreams of using her art to give back to her community.
