This was a gift for my daughter and her husband for their 5th wedding anniversary, which is traditionally crafted from wood. It's beautifully made and she loved it.
I love this artist's sculptures of people. She seems able to capture and preserve those special moments. I've given a number of these away, and everyone is always awed by them and seem to really treasure them.
Absolutely beautiful. It was a gift for a very special person I have in my life. She believes in the yoga theology so I knew this was made for her. I can’t believe the quality of the sculpture. It’s hard to find quality like that here.

NOVICA has built this broad collection of abstract sculpture with examples from artisans and artists from such diverse countries and regions as the Andes, Indonesia, Brazil, India, Mexico, Thailand and West Africa.
Artists like Ghana’s Rita Addo Zakour, who, even though she works in local woods and aluminum sheets, designs her pieces with traditional West African themes in mind. And like all of the other artisans who’s work is exhibited on these pages, dreams of using her art to give back to her community.
