This is a very interesting wood sculpture from West Africa.
Her dress is made from local fabric which is colorful
and her matching earrings and necklace complete the outfit
I love Novica's collection of wood statues as they are always
authentic and very appealing.

Eka is a terrific artisan. This piece is the second of her pieces that I have purchased and I will be purchasing one more of simlar subject and dimension.
I love this artist's sculptures of people. She seems able to capture and preserve those special moments. I've given a number of these away, and everyone is always awed by them and seem to really treasure them.
