Francis Agbete evokes the presence of sweet angels for a unique set of six ornaments. "I work with kapok, which is a soft wood, so I have to use a very sharp knife to just scrape away at the wood to shape their heads, body and wings. The different colors come from different parts of the wood," explains the Ghanaian artisan. The ornaments hang from jute strings.

Exalting Africa's rich traditions, George Obeng carves a novel set of ornaments. Each of the ornaments is unique, each is beautiful. Designed to bring a festive touch of Ghana to holiday décor, the four crosses, an angel and a Santa Claus face arrive in a ceiba wood veneer storage box.

Francis Agbete honors the birth of Christ through his incomparable sculpture art. Working with teak wood, the Ghanaian artisan sculpts a 14-piece nativity scene that includes Mary and Joseph kneeling next to an angel, followed by a camel and a shepherd standing up. A donkey lies down in front of the hut, and on the other side are the three Wise Kings with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Three sheep guard the manger where the Baby Jesus peacefully sleeps.
