I bought these earrings along with the matching necklace for my best friend for her birthday. Her favorite color is purple and since her birthday is in February, her birthstone is Amethyst. She loves jewelry! I was looking for something unique and different from anything she already owns. She has a lot of jewelry. She loves mining for gem stones and also loves going to gem shows. My ring just arrived and I immediately put it on. This ring is not just for cocktail parties. I will be wearing it daily- I just love it. It looks great on the middle finger and you can wear it as shown or reverse with the smaller side down. Both ways are FABU. It really makes a statement on the hand. Very unique. Many thanks to the artist for the beautiful design.

On holiday

For summer, I redecorate the master bedroom in a costal theme. These coasters are on the bedside tables to hold the cold lemon water we have there during the night if we happen to wake up and want a sip. They fit perfectly with the theme of the room and are a bit larger in circumference than I thought - which is great as this accomodates various sizes of glasses or mugs. The blue is a beautiful shade and although the design in the fish is somewhat etched, the surface is smooth and even, providing a sturdy base. They are also thick, which means I don't need to worry about heat-transfer to the oak of our tables.
