Designed by Emma Gutierrez, two handwoven face masks are contoured for comfort and fit. Elegant brocade motifs in teal and brown oas well as a solid dusty lilac fabric are created on the backstrap loom. Each mask is fully lined and features a moisture-resistant interfacing for a total of three layers of fabric. The pair is both washable and reusable, with white elastic to loop over the ears.

Vinita in Thailand creates a breezy cotton scarf in a pretty melange of lilacs and dusky blue shades. The open-weave scarf is made from hand-spun cotton yarns of irregular widths for a nubby texture.

Diverse queens in African history have left valuable lessons that today inspire the citizens of this stunning continent. Inspired by these memorable women, Ghanaian artisan Robert Aidoo-Taylor works with local wood to create this traditional African mask. The piece portrays Queen Nefertiti, the beautiful and wise ruler of Egypt, who guided her people after the death of her husband, the Pharaoh. Her elegant and clever spirit is captured by the artisan through purple and red hues.

Inspired by Azonto, which is a traditional Ghanaian dance, K. Baka creates this original and beautiful wall hanging. Made of black cotton, this long wall hanging is decorated using the batik method, where a wax resist is painted onto the fabric before it is treated with colorful dyes, resulting in the image of an African mask that is displayed between two Gye Nyame adinkra symbols, which signify the supremacy of God.

Beautiful and serene, an Indonesian queen is ornately crowned in sterling silver. Buana carves the mask from cow bone with delicate detail and adorns her with pearl earrings. Sparkling with 1.10 carats of amethysts and blue topaz, the magnificent pendant is worn on a Borobudur chain.
