Artist Jairo Mora from Costa Rica has overcome the challenges life has put in his path thanks to his innate artistic talent and stunning works that illustrate life in those tropical lands blessed by nature. This time, the artisan uses acrylic on canvas to create a naif painting of two kids and a rural school, representing Costa Rica's hope for the future. The work comes stretched and is titled Faroles in Spanish.

Set in a tropical landscape of rich natural beauty, this painting by Boni offers a glimpse of his homeland. In the foreground, a girl throws water a flirty young swain and her dog growls a warning, "Stay away!"

"I love this tradition, the art of crafting kites, and all their colors," he adds. These kites have been designated as a Cultural Heritage of Guatemala.
