Woven by hand in shades of copper and black, this hammock holds the promise of sweet relaxation. Mexico's Maya Artists of the Yucatán preserve the weaving techniques inherited from their Maya ancestors to ensure the hammock tradition.

Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. They considered the hammock to be like the loving embrace of a mother, due to the comfortable manner in which the body is held and swung within its cradle. Maya Artists of the Yucatan seek to preserve time-honored customs while also offering stylized versions of the original Maya hammock. For them, the hammock is a work of art. Their hammocks are incredibly comfortable, easy to maintain, and may be stored just about anywhere.

It easily packs for travel to the beach or lake. Extender ropes (measuring 1 meter), hammock hooks ("S" hooks), and step-by-step instructions included for easy installation.

Hand-painted feathers and natural motifs bring a charming design to life, made from eco-friendly materials. Costa Rica's Karolyn Cruz uses recycled plastic to create this tropical mobile with an adorable bird dangling at the bottom, all in a colorful palette for a magical touch. On top of that, the work comes with a cute brass jingle bell and a galvanized wire hook.

Peruvian artisan Asunta Pelaez creates this cheery side table in the colonial style of reverse-painted glass. Crafted from cedar wood with a silvery finish, the table features a glass pane on the top, its reverse side painted by hand with colorful roses against a teal background.

In designing this traditional spirit house, Thai artisan Jaifah Aksornsri draws inspiration from the architectural styles of temples from the ancient Lanna kingdom. It is customary for people in Thailand to build a san phra poom, or "guardian spirit house" when they finish building their own house. A Buddhist ceremony takes place, inviting a protective spirit to live inside the small house. These spirit houses are believed to bring luck, happiness, success, and security to those within the home. Handcrafted from mango wood, red stairs lead to a spirit house that is given a bronze-tone finish with colorful mirrored glass accents.

This exquisite beaded waterfall necklace is an original creation by Mirian Zet from Guatemala, whose great talent allows her to craft the intricate design that characterizes this unique piece. The artisan strings golden, metallic, bronze and clear crystal and glass beads in elaborate patterns, creating an elegant aura, all secured by a beaded toggle clasp.

Surrounded by colorful gemstones, an imperial woman is quite serene. Buana carves the exquisite face from smooth white bone. Precious citrine, peridot and garnet bring their beauty to the silver cuff bracelet with a total of 5.3 carats.
