Inspired by nature, Indian artisan Sumiya creates this enchanting pair of cushion covers. Crafted from cotton, these cushion covers are decorated with mesmeric colorful embroidery that depicts various animals and leaves. Tassels dangle from the corners of each cover, which opens with a zipper for inserting a cushion.

Sinuous vines and colorful flowers create a celebration of spring in these cotton cushion covers from India. Designer Amit Moza and a talented team work with acrylic threads to craft the chain-stitch embroidered details, combining blue, pink, green and ivory in a stunning composition in honor of nature. A zipper on the back completes the pair, allowing easy use.

Working with polyester, artisan Hilda Zúñiga creates the accessory in an aqua hue, adding a hand-painted natural scene at the front depicting a pair of birds. Furthermore, the design features black piping and an opening at the back.

“My designs come in striking colors that represent Costa Rica, with the idea of capturing some of the richness of these colors and our beautiful native animals to make you fall in love with them,” says Costa Rican artisan Ferlander Arguedas. To create this colorful cushion cover, he uses different painting techniques and sublimation for printing. The cushion cover features Costa Rican native flora and fauna, such as parrots, toucans and frogs, in vibrant colors. The back is plain, with a zipper closure to fit the cushion.

This adorable cushion cover makes a case for once again enjoying the lowly living room couch, bringing the plants and wildlife of the jungle to the space where guests marvel and stories echo. Working on the traditional backstrap loom, artisan Lorena Perez crafts this cover from thread to finished product - all by hand. Embroidering the front of this cushion cover, Lorenza creates a scene from the rainforest, with flowers, a tree, a wetland and birds. The rear of the cover exposes the opening for inserting a 16x16 inch cushion.
