Dayal carefully arranges her composition to tell the story of the tree of life, employing the classic Madhubani painting style. "Madhubani paintings are in fact a simplistic manifestation of the philosophical heights achieved by Indian civilization for the universal power of love, longing and peace -- the quest of all beings," Dayal says.

The bright leaves of the forest finish the season with an air of change and new beginnings. As artist Sukum Ruangdech says, “They mark the gentle transition from a season of joy to the arrival of summer, as if whispering a quiet reminder for life to embrace change." A palette of oil brushstrokes gives life to every element, making an impressionist portrait of nature.
