I have a collection of gorgeous, small boxes of many different kinds, materials and finishes. This beauty caught my eye immediately and is a wonderful addition to my collection. It is unique from any of the others and is so lovely on its own. I will put some of my newly acquired Novica pieces of jewelry in it as I have it in a location which is convenient for that use and perfect to keep it safe. This is my first piece from Ana Maria, but I am so pleased that I will be reviewing her collection for other lovely pieces for both myself and my lucky gift recipients! Thanks Ana Maria and Novica!! Simple but very beautiful cover design. Convenient button closure. The color "irregularities" prove it's handmade paper and adds to its beauty. The paper is a good weight. I was surprised how quickly this arrived and with a lovely thank you note from the artisan.

This is the second nativity sculpture I have ordered by this artist. The first one was for me and this one is for a friend who fell in love with my family. The figures are beautiful and so intricately detailed. I smile at these pieces. Mr. Aylas is truly gifted.
