Jain masters hand-block printing techniques in green, blue and black to adorn the tunic with floral and leafy patterns. Green silk taping trims the cuffs and hemline. Featuring lateral side slits and three-quarter length sleeves, the tunic is lined with cotton.

Named after a city in Madhya Pradesh, chanderi fabrics can be traced back to Vedic times; however, it was not until the 1970's that the cotton and silk blend fabric was developed.

Please note that due to the nature of the raw yarn used for weaving, chanderi textures are somewhat crisp.

Everybody wants one...

I am one of those folks who has way too many scarves, a fact that doesn’t deter me from buying more. But, when I got this scarf, and gave it to my daughter-in-law, I clearly hit a resonant chord. Relaxed and comfortable fit

I couldn't tell from the photo, but this blouse is cut in a sort of A-shape or swing-shape (wider at the bottom). This makes it very loose and breezy when untucked and gives it a more casual look when tucked-in as well. (It would go well over leggings or other slender-legged pants and would also work as a beautiful maternity blouse or for women who want to hide some belly rolls!) The workmanship is solid, the fabric and colors nice, and I like this shirt a lot. I usually wear it tucked in: it is long enough not to come untucked and the fabric isn't too bulky to show under cotton pants. Recommend, unless you are looking for a taillored shirt.
