I bought this ring because it reminds me of my mother, who loved marcasite jewelry and wore many antique pieces with milgrain detailing. I wear it nearly every day in a stack of silver rings, and it pairs very well with other textures and tones. It has lovely fine detail and the marcasite glitters and stands out beautifully- It's still my favorite.

I've had a pair of these for a few years. My favorite. Well I lost one of them and was devastated. Fortunately there were a few left so I immediately purchased another set. I will be very careful with these!! A work of art and so sturdy and yet delicate. I get so many compliments because I wear them often Cannot wait for my next set to arrive. This is a beautiful, unique item created by a gifted artisan. I purchased this necklace as a gift and "good luck charm" for a friend who is leaving soon to teach in Cambodia for six months. The photo does not do justice to this pendant, it is gorgeous! As always, the packaging is beautiful, it is always well worth the extra few dollars to order the special gift box.
