Crafted from flowing rayon, the caftan is decorated using the batik method; a wax resist is stamped by hand onto the fabric before it is treated with colorful dyes, resulting in lemon yellow leaf motifs against a body of turquoise. A tie cinches this poncho at the waist for a flirty look. This multi-functional piece can be worn as a beach cover-up, a summery short dress or a relaxed top.

Inspired by fall, Balinese artisan Endah creates this elegant shift dress. Crafted from smooth rayon, the shift is decorated using the batik method; a wax resist is stamped by hand onto the fabric before it is treated with dye, resulting in a deep midnight blue with leaf and floral motifs of snow white. The dress is characterized by short sleeves and a knee-length skirt, and features a removable self belt and side seam pockets.

A majestic tree is surrounded by a corona in this Balinese relief panel. Local artisans hand-carve the relief panel from suar wood, giving it a natural finish. Eka presents the relief panel.

Recalling Bali's batik heritage, Saktut Raitawati designs a green border print robe with purple fern motifs. Classic front-wrap styling, wide kimono sleeves and a matching tie belt combine for graceful line. The patterns are created with the silk screen technique.

In his painting, free-flying doves symbolize world peace, and two hands shake in accord, forming a united, yet diverse forest in this dreamy acrylic painting fashioned in the surrealist style.

The artist says his painting interprets world peace as the only way for the relationship between God, humans and the environment to prosper — to be able to forgive each other and set aside common differences.
