Crescent moons cast a spell of magical mysticism as flowers blossom on starry nights and owls and birds come out to play. Jose Arriola paints each ceramic moon with the vibrant colors of Guatemala.

This striking painting by Christian Bustamante depicts a red crab wearing an old yellow diving helmet as it walks across the ocean floor surrounded by seaweed and shells. “This surreal image evokes different sensations in those who observe it. Each viewer can interpret the scene in their own way,” says the Salvadoran artist, who created the composition using acrylics on canvas.

"I wanted to represent my unique vision of death, to take away the sad part and put a bit of humor and extravagance," says Guatemalan artist Spencer Samayoa while bringing to life an expressionist woodcut print in black and white. As a talented artisan, Spencer creates this diptych on coated paper, depicting the reaper carrying a stereo and also wearing a captivating dress.

Red, brown and golden hues announce the arrival of prosperous and harmonious times while decorating this magical creation by Roxana Alas from El Salvador. The artisan works on plasterboard structures, accenting them with repoussé aluminum sheets that complete this set of three butterfly-themed wall accents with a magical illusion. After adding some decoupage details to enrich the pieces' enchanting vibe, the final touch comes in the form of plastic and glass beads, adorning the wings with a charming look.

Shaped of terracotta and hand painted in bright folk art colors, these festive ornaments depict the Christmas star. Jose Arriola creates a set of six, and each one is different. Poinsettias with distinct stylizations adorn them. They arrive in a storage bag of handloomed cotton.
