Love thrives in each hand-painted leaf that decorates these ceramic dangle earrings by Mexico's Juana Ponce. Inspired by the Talavera technique, Juana creates a garden of evergreen leaves around the design's ellipse pendants—boasting a romantic red hue.

When used in jewelry, amber beads can include a stunning arrangement of tones and hues. Natural amber ranges from yellow to deep orange. It may sometimes even have a green cast to it, as well as opaque swirls within. Because amber is the preserved resin of prehistoric trees that grew millions of years ago, it sometimes has tiny inclusions of plants and insects -- making it highly prized.

"I designed these earrings so that the person wearing them may receive the moon's energy, and so be filled with her vitality and light," confides Mexico's Mariana Llanes. The sterling silver earrings are crafted by hand featuring the mystical glow of moonstone, which according to gemstone lore, is consecrated to the Moon Goddess.

Artisan Monica Vazquez of Mexico hand crafts these lovely dangle earrings that feature a Talavera-style ceramic bead painted with a beautiful deep blue leaf motif with a matching crystal bead above and below. The hooks and findings on the earrings are sterling silver.

About her work, the artisan says: "I have a deep admiration and love for everything that has been done in Mexico. I love that with these designs we give women beautiful accessories and highlight Mexican craftsmanship."
